Domain Name Change

I have changed my domain name as you already know, I maintained the former name and it's now http://wealthascum.co.cc. it’s a free domain in case anyone else is interested, just go to co.cc. I changed my domain without knowing some important things.

Alexa rank: it’s quite unbelievable. My rank is now so low; I went from 440,000 to 15million. I was like WHAT??? Lol. Assuming I knew from the start I probably wouldn’t have changed it-don’t get me wrong, am glad I did-it’s just like starting a blog all over again.

The second is that my traffic was so low for some days. There was this day I got just four people to my blog and I think I was the fourth person. It’s getting better now though.

I have no back links. I read somewhere online that the back links for the former domain still leads to the new one. I sure hope so because my Google webmaster tools seem to think otherwise. At the moment, I have zero back links.

The most important was my state of mind. My spirit was so low for those few days after the change. It was so discouraging.

At least now, I better understand what it entails to change domains. Cheers!
